Catering Assistant

The Role

10 hours per week (Monday to Friday 11.00am to 1.00pm), 39 weeks per year (term time + 5 days)

Are you looking for a term time role in catering? If so we have a great opportunity for you. We are currently looking for a reliable and motivated Catering Assistant to join the Catering team at the Trust. The post holder will be responsible for preparing and serving food and beverages to students and staff. The successful candidate will based in our Primary Catering team, based at Oakway Academy. You may also be asked to support in the canteen or café based at Sir Christopher Hatton Academy.

Applications are invited from candidates who have

·      the minimum of Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths

·      a Level 2 catering related qualification or a commitment to complete a qualification

·      Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate

·      experience of working in a commercial kitchen

·      the ability to work confidently in a “front of house” role
